I like wearing three quarter sleeved sweaters/blouses in spring, so I found this one and I paired it up with these simple flapped denim shorts, leopard printed shoes, glittery sunglasses and a classic bag. This outfit is playful and perfect if you are in a rush because you can just put in on and you're effortlessly done.

Mi piace indossare maglie/camicette a maniche a tre quarti in primavera, quindi ho trovato questa e l'ho abbinata con questi semplici pantaloncini di jeans risvoltati, scarpe con stampa animalier, occhiali glitterati e una borsa classica. Questo outfit è giocoso e perfetto se siete di fretta perché lo infilate semplicemente e siete pronte senza sforzo.

You can never go wrong with neutrals. Here in Italy it isn't hot yet, so I matched this warm and soft cashmere cardigan with a flouncy blouse underneath. The top is quite large, so I chose a pair of skinny jeans to balance it out and a pair of ankle boots. Would you tell I love cat eye sunglasses?
I would wear this outfit to work.

Non potete mai sbagliare con i colori neutri. Qui in Italia non è ancora caldo, quindi ho abbinato questo cardigan caldo e soffice in cashmere con una camicetta svolazzante sotto. La parte sopra è abbastanza larga, quindi ho scelto un paio di jeans skinny per bilanciarlo e un paio di stivaletti alla caviglia. Direste che amo gli occhiali a farfalla?
Indosserei questo outfit al lavoro.

This one is my favourite. It is a great way to pair that elegant lace dress that - almost - all of us own up. Wearing a cozy sweater on top, over-the-knee high tights, flats, cat eye sunnies and a huge bag is the best way to be sexy, feminine and comfortable during the day.
How do you pair lace up? Do you wear it in the daytime? I think that the key is to avoid dark colours and eye-catching cuts.

Questo è il mio preferito. È un ottimo modo per abbinare quel vestito di pizzo elegante che (quasi) tutte noi abbiamo. Indossarci un maglione comodo sopra, calze sopra il ginocchio, ballerine, occhiali a farfalla e una borsa enorme è il modo migliore per essere sexy, femminili e comode durate la giornata.
Come abbinate il pizzo? Lo indossate di giorno? Penso che il segreto sia evitare i colori scuri e tagli vistosi.

Uma Wang

This morning Uma Wang has been our guest at the university. First, Riccardo Bruni from Lyria, a fabric designer who works with her, have told us about his job and about the collaboration with Uma. Then, Uma showed us some mood boards of her collections, we have watched her spring/summer 2013 fashion show - I can't find the video, but here you can see the collection - and she have answered our questions. 
This seems really simple, it's basically what we do when we have special guests, but she have left me speechless. She have walked into the room and greeted us with one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. It was so pure, sincere, and sweet.
She seems beautiful inside and out. She had no makeup on, but she was amazing anyway. She is tall, thin and she has waistline length silky hair. Although Uma is well-known all over the world, she seems so humble, kind, and nice.
I love her creations, through them we can clearly see Japanese fashion designers influence, but, although she is a big fan of Rei Kawakubo, they are feminine. I would totally wear her clothes.

Stamattina Uma Wang è stata nostra ospite all'università. Prima, Riccardo Bruni di Lyria, un fabric designer che lavora con lei, ci ha raccontato del suo lavoro e della sua collaborazione con Uma. Poi, Uma ci ha mostrato alcuni mood board delle sue collezioni, abbiamo guardato la sua sfilata primavera/estate 2013 (non riesco a trovare il video, ma qui potete vedere la collezione)  e ha risposto alle nostre domande.
Questo sembra molto semplice, fondamentalmente è quello che facciamo quando abbiamo ospiti speciali, ma lei mi ha lasciato senza parole. È entrata nella stanza e ci ha salutato con uno dei più bei sorrisi che io abbia mai visto. Era così puro, sincero e dolce.
Sembra bellissima fuori e dentro. Non era truccata, ma era favolosa comunque. È alta, magra e ha dei capelli setosi che le arrivano alla vita. Nonostante Uma sia famosa in tutto il mondo, sembra così umile, gentile e simpatica.
Amo le sue creazioni, attraverso di essi possiamo chiaramente vedere l'influenza degli stilisti giapponesi, ma, nonostante sia una grande fan di Rei Kawakubo, sono femminili. Indosserei assolutamente i suoi abiti.

Grazia Fashion Contest

As you know - if you don't click here - I'm partecipating in "Blogger we want you!" contest by Grazia. They asked fashion bloggers to choose one or more pieces from their new shop and to create a whole outfit by using it. I included these sunglasses by Retrosuperfuture in the outfit and I decided to use their colours to find the other pieces. I created a layout inspired by Mondrian, one of my favourite painters, to show which colours I used.

Hanno chiesto ai fashion bloggers di scegliere uno o più articoli dal loro nuovo shop e di creare un intero outfit utilizzandolo. Ho incluso nell'outfit questi occhiali da sole di Retrosuperfuture e ho deciso di usare i loro colori per trovare gli altri pezzi.
